CONCACAF installs SCC MediaServer Express

ALPHARETTA, GA., (September 7, 2009) -- SCC is pleased to announce the sale of their SCC MediaServer Express Edition system to The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf), New York, NY.

The SCC MediaServer Express Edition system is tied to Microsoft’s SQL Server Express Edition with Advanced Services, which is a free, downloadable, easy-to-use, and lightweight version of SQL Server. The result is a system that provides high-end text and graphics processing and workflow functionality combined with archival capability for approximately 400,000 multimedia objects at a very affordable cost.

With the new MediaServer Express Edition, SCC targets companies that either do not have the need for the larger capacity MediaServer Enterprise system, or that initially wish to start out small but with a view to upgrading to the Enterprise Edition at a later time.
