El Progreso, Spain selects SCC MediaServer Content Management System ALPHARETTA, GA., (June 19, 2007) -- The Software Construction Company (SCC) is pleased to announce the sale and installation of an SCC MediaServer content management system at Grupo El Progreso, Galicia, Spain. The MediaServer installation serves as an archive of photos, graphics, text files, PDF pages and digital photo out-takes, and provides concurrent client access to SCC MediaGrid and Web browser users on both Windows and Macintosh OSX workstations. The system includes the following optional modules: The SCC MediaServer Replication Module provides the ability to maintain additional copies of an SCC MediaServer system at one or more remote sites. The module incorporates a scheduling mechanism which can be configured to provide near real-time replication of the primary MediaServer system, or configured to run only at certain times of the day. The SCC MediaServer Delivery Module, which supports automatic reformatting and delivery of files stored within the MediaServer database to a variety of destinations including web sites and online vendors such as NewsBank and Lexis- Nexus. The Autonomy spanish language module which allows the use of spanish commands within the search query as well as providing automatic stemming of spanish language words contained in the MediaServer database.
